The closest airport is Aeropuerto Internacional del Bajio (BJX) located in Silao and close to the cities of Leon, Guanajuato, and Irapuato. In the airport, take an authorized Taxi to “Cinvestav Irapuato”. The approximate driving time is 30 minutes.
You can take a direct bus to Irapuato from most cities in central west Mexico. In the bus station, take an authorized Taxi to “Cinvestav Irapuato” (approximate driving time is 15 minutes). Main bus lines traveling to Irapuato:
