Illumina microarrays are a robust system that allow us to find variants in simple nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs). The microarrays are subsequently scanned in the iScan system, providing us with information about the genetic variability between large-scale populations, as well as susceptibility to disease-causal variants.
Genotyping by microarrays are available for a great varieties of analysis which could be:
